Year Project Completed: 2017
Project Builder: Newlands Group

Our Client wanted to create an open, collaborative work environment in which a number of businesses were able to co-exist. They saw an opportunity in the recently abandoned building formerly occupied by Knights Laundry Service.
Our Client requested the design to be focused on the creation of a shared workspace supporting 3 primary tenants with an associated cafe space. It was also to include shared lunch, data, meeting and outdoor spaces. The design was required to retain and enhance heritage elements in the building wherever possible. The development needed to incorporate both office and retail spaces and create connectivity between them.
The completed project is a triumph for the adaptive re-use of an existing building. It is now a functional and popular hub for both office and public use every day of the week.
